MTMMM Eye Micro Surgery & Research Centre was started in 1983. Over the last 32 years, it has grown to the status of an Eye hospital which is performing 5000 Surgeries every year. More than 25,000 Cataract Surgeries have been done during the last ten years and almost 75% surgeries were done free of cost. The department is headed by the Cataract Surgery Specialist Dr. Sanjay Raju MS, who has done 80,000 Cataract Surgeries in his career and 123 surgeries in a day.

Objective

Improve the quality of life of the disabled who are neglected by their families and the community at large. We aimed to provide assistance to the disabled, and improve their physical & mental health and living condition like enhancing mobility, promoting independence and fostering self confidence. We focus to deliver expert ophthalmic care with compassion through a expert professional team.

Cataract & IOL Surgery:- We offers minimal incision surgery with phaco emulsification and implantation of a foldable Intraocular Lens. Nearly 60 cataract surgeries are done at Sankara Nethralaya every theatre day. Premium IOLs like Aspheric IOL, Toric IOLs and Multifocal IOLs are available.
